This website is owned & managed by Roger Dowsett who can be contacted via the e-mail address at the foot of this web page.

Definitions

• "Me or I" means Roger Dowsett.
• "You" means the person purchasing the service.
• "Authorised user" means any person authorised by me to use the website.
• "Website" means www.hifflyfishing.com .
• "Content" means information and/or data published on my website www.hifflyfishing.com
• "Product" means anything offered for sale on my website including subscriptions.
• "Service" means all the services that are provided by my website upon purchasing a subscription or any other product.
• "Personal Use" means use by a private individual for general interest, study, research and non-commercial usage.
• "Business Use” means use by a sole trader or small to large sized businesses for commercial purposes. This category would include fishing guides, sporting agents, fishing marketing companies, fishing journalism (online & print), fishing tackle manufacturers, destination management companies, tour operators and similar businesses.
• "Software" means any software I use to provide the service.
• "Third-party owners" means any owner of software or other content not owned by me including various software providers.

Our Contract

1. In exchange for payment for a subscription at the appropriate rate, I agree to provide to you access to the information provided on my website.
2. All such information is provided in good faith and is correct to the best of my knowledge and ability.
3. I provide no warranty as to the accuracy of this information and it should not be relied upon for any legal or commercial purpose.
4. You agree to pay the appropriate subscription for the service provided. Personal use subscribers may not use any content of the website for commercial purposes.
5. I agree to provide the service for the entire duration of your subscription subject only to necessary website maintenance and any outages by third-party owners beyond my direct control such as a failure of my webhost Hostworld or temporary unavailability of, for example, Google My Maps or Sprout Video.
6. The service is provided immediately upon receipt of payment and can be obtained by logging into the website once you have received an invitation e-mail from me.
7. All subscriptions auto-renew by default. You can cancel your subscription at any time. This will end the subscription at the end of the year with no auto-renew.
8. By accepting these terms and conditions you accept immediate delivery and, in doing so, you lose your right to cancel your order within 14 days under Section 36 of the The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Use of the Website

1. Use of the website is restricted to authorised users.
2. Only authorised users are allowed to use login credentials. Usernames and passwords shall not be passed on to, or shared with, anyone who is not an authorised user. It is a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 to obtain, or attempt to obtain, unauthorised access.
3. You agree not to publish or distribute any of the content of the website without my prior consent. Business users may have fair use of the information contained in the website for internal company planning, reports, documents or communications, but must not disemminate the content to other parties.

Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland and subject to jurisdiction in Scottish courts only.
